The best park in Portland is Albert Kelly Park

The best park in Portland is Albert Kelly Park. It's boggy and muddy, the playground equipment is older than me (including a merry go round so fast it can throw the kids sideways), one of the neighbors has hung a janky board swing from a tree, it has a huge stand of century Doug Firs, and we always find piles of bricks and rocks and sticks that lend themselves to making nests or forts or ninja hideouts.
